Clare Beale,
Senior Podiatrist
Our highly skilled Senior Podiatrist Clare Beale works hard to provide you with the best possible treatment. She is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council.
The Beale Clinic was set up by Clare in 2000 to offer a very high standard of care to all age groups in the heart of the Sussex countryside and we pride ourselves in ensuring a positive effect on the health and comfort of every client. Clare works closely with the medical profession and other health care providers.
Clare’s knowledge and experience of nail and foot conditions ensures the best solutions for any foot problem you might have. She regularly attends post-grad courses to continuously update her expertise in all the latest treatments, techniques and products.
Before setting up the Beale Clinic, Clare was a registered nurse and gained a business studies diploma before being awarded a First Class Honours Degree in Podiatry.
Clare has a broad experience of all types of chiropody and podiatry, but she specialises in mechanical foot related problems and orthotic therapy. She has conducted research examining the relationship between orthotics and their effect on foot pressures.
She frequently delivers presentations and training workshops to many different organisations.
She is a keen skier and tennis player.
Ceri Morris,
General Podiatrist

Ceri Morris is passionate about understanding how movement and lower limb function impact overall health and wellbeing. She takes a Holistic approach to diagnosis and treatment, combining evidence-based techniques with personalised care to help patients move more comfortably and confidently. Ceri is an expert in Diabetes and complex foot problems. She takes a keen interest in helping patients understand the disease.
Ceri remains committed to staying current with the latest research in podiatry and regularly integrate new findings into clinical practice. Her goal is to offer the most effective, up-to-date treatment options to support long term foot and lower limb health.
Ceri’s academic background also shapes the way she works with patients. Her dissertation focused on health literacy. Specifically, how patients understand and engage with healthcare information. This research has had a lasting impact on how Ceri communicates. She believes that clear conversations, avoiding jargon, empower patients to take an active role in their treatment, leading to better outcomes and a more positive experience overall.
Elizabeth Nicholson, Acupuncturist
B.Sc Hons Acupuncture
Elizabeth developed her passion for Chinese medicine after experiencing the powerful benefits of acupuncture herself. She went on to complete a BSc in Acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, combining studies in both Chinese and conventional medicine. Elizabeth treats a wide range of conditions, including pain and inflammation, injury recovery, fertility and hormonal issues, skin conditions, and digestive concerns, often using complementary therapies such as cupping and gua sha alongside acupuncture.
Samme Allen,

Samme spent over 25 years navigating the demanding corporate world, where she gained first-hand experience with the pressure that comes with high-stress environments. Recognising the toll this lifestyle can take, Samme has now shifter her focus to complementary health to help reduce stress and anxiety, as well as promote well being for her clients.
She specialises in using reflexology to restore balance, relieve stress, and support the body’s natural healing processes, and also offers treatments such as Indian Head Massage, anti-ageing non-surgical facelift massage and reiki to create a personalised healing experience.
Committed to continued professional development, Samme is a full member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and holds a deep understanding of these complementary practices to empower her clients to achieve balance and a renewed vitality in their lives. She is a “mum” to 2 beautiful dogs, and loves nothing better than a dog walk followed by treating clients in the beautiful setting of The Beale Clinic.

Jayne Phillips,
Senior Physiotherapist
Jayne brings over 25 years of Physiotherapy and 20 years of Pilates experience to the clinic, with a wealth of expertise in treating musculoskeletal conditions. After qualifying from Brunel University in 1997, she worked across the NHS and private sectors in Southwest London and Middlesex before settling in Sussex in 2011. Jayne now runs a well-established Physiotherapy and Pilates practice, offering classes from the Martindale Centre, Horsted Keynes, and treatments at The Beale Clinic.
Outside work, she enjoys time outdoors with her family and dog, gardening, running, strength training and, of course, Pilates.
