About Massage Therapy

Michelle offers a thoughtfully varied range of massage therapies, drawing on her experience and qualifications across several complementary techniques:

  • Deep tissue massage — works into the deeper layers of muscle to ease chronic tension and tightness that a lighter touch can't always reach.

  • Swedish massage — uses long, flowing strokes to relax the whole body and support healthy circulation.

  • Manual lymphatic drainage — a gentle, rhythmic technique that encourages the body's natural drainage processes, helping to reduce fluid retention and support detoxification.

  • Fascia release — focuses on the connective tissue surrounding the muscles, easing the restrictions that so often show up as stiffness or limited movement.

  • Hands-on healing — a gentler, energy-based approach that supports deep relaxation and the body's own capacity to find balance.

  • Indian head massage — concentrates on the head, neck and shoulders to relieve tension, soothe headaches and bring a real sense of calm.

Rather than following a fixed formula, Michelle works intuitively, choosing whichever of these approaches the body seems to need in the moment, so each session can feel quite different depending on what a client is carrying that day. She is also currently training in craniosacral therapy, which can be woven into a treatment or booked separately at a discounted rate for those who would like to try it on its own.

About Michelle

Michelle has been a massage therapist for over 25 years, and that depth of experience shows in the warmth and attentiveness she brings to every session. Every new client begins with an initial consultation, giving the two of you time to build a connection and helping them feel truly held within the space before any work begins. From there, Michelle works closely with each person to understand what's behind their discomfort or stress, supporting their healing not just during sessions but in the time between them too. She looks forward to welcoming you to the Beale Clinic.
